When this patient was diagnosed with cancer, she was offered both a deferred reconstruction (ie in 2 surgical stages) and an immediate one. Immediate reconstruction offers significant advantages, as the only part that appears reconstructed is the nipple areola complex, as the skin island can only be positioned in the center. Therefore all the skin of the breast is preserved and this improves its aesthetic appearance. At the same time in this patient a lifting of the other breast was carried out, preserving its volume in order to make it symmetrical, beautiful and happier than before.
